Q&A with Kyle Shultz, Supply Chain Planner/Analyst

Kyle Shultz joined Fuchs about a year and a half ago as the Seasoning Planner. He recently was promoted to the role of Supply Chain Planner/Analyst. Prior to joining Fuchs, Kyle worked as a Business Analyst and Terminal/Operations Manager in the transportation industry. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University, where he studied Supply Chain and Information Systems.

Q&A

Q: Tell us a little bit more about yourself.
A: I am from the Hampstead, MD area and recently moved to Manchester, MD with my fiancé and our Siberian Husky, Noah. I am an avid Penn State, Orioles and Ravens fan. My hobbies include photography, traveling, and gaming (Xbox/pc, and I used to stream part-time on Twitch – yes, I know how nerdy that sounds!).

Q: What are you most looking forward to about your new role?
A: I am excited to work with the Supply Chain and Operations teams to support customer service. I am looking forward to getting back to my roots in using my analytical education and background to optimize efficiency, cost-savings and continuing the improvements in our processes.

Q: What is your favorite thing about working with Fuchs, and your favorite part of your role?
A: I love the family feel and environment of Fuchs. My favorite thing about my job is that I get to do what I love which is analyze and solve problems.
