We're proud to introduce our latest collection, the Game Day Glory III Collection, just in time for the Super Bowl! These mouthwatering seasonings were carefully developed by Fuchs' Corporate Executive Chef, Elizabeth Lindemer. The four items in our new Game Day Glory III Collection are:

  • Caramelized Onion & Roasted Garlic Dip Seasoning
  • Chick Chick Chili Soup Base
  • Chipotle Caramel Snack Seasoning
  • Honey Sriracha Wing Rub

Each of the items that make up Fuchs’ Game Day Glory III Collection features delicious and on-trend flavors that will liven up all of your Game Day favorites. According to DipShannon Cushen, Fuchs' Director of Marketing, “Our newest collection delivers on flavor, providing new twists on Game Day favorites. And, with on-trend flavors like Chipotle Caramel, these blends are sure to be winners long after football season ends."

Our Caramelized Onion & Roasted Garlic Dip Seasoning features sweet and savory caramelized onions with a punch of roasted garlic to help you create an appetizing dip for your guests with ease.

Game Day wouldn’t be complete without wings! Our Honey Sriracha Wing Rub will be your new “go to” for wings and other proteins. According to Lindemer, “This blend is perfect for shaking on already cooked wings or for using as a marinade. It’s great for wings or anything else you want to add a little sweet and spicy hint of flavor.”

Not only is our Chipotle Caramel Snack Seasoning particularly on trend, but it’s also incredibly versatile. “You’ll want to sprinkle this on all your favorite snacks! It’s a fun topping for popcorn, roasted nuts, crackers and other snacks too,” Lindemer suggests.

No need to spend all day in the kitchen preparing for the Big Game! “Our Chick Chick Chili Soup Base is flavorful and fast! It makes it easy for you to make a delicious batch of chili in no time at all so you can be free to enjoy the game!” Lindemer enthuses.

PLMA Recap

In mid-November, five members of the Fuchs team travelled to Chicago, Illinois to represent Fuchs at the Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) Expo.
Our week at PLMA was packed with meetings, introductions, walking the floor, and, of course, setting up and tearing down our booth, which proved to be a wonderful exercise in team building.
Tradeshows are a great way for us to connect with our customers – several of which stopped by Booth F6512 to meet with us and taste some of Chef Elizabeth’s yummy creations. On Monday, we served Moroccan Style Ras el Hanookies and Tzatziki Pita Chips, both from our Make it Mediterranean Collection, along with Malaysian Style Curry Laska and Vietnamese Style Meatballs, from our Celebrate Southeast Asia Collection.
On Tuesday, we prepared equally exciting samples, including Orange Cardamom cookies (a Fuchs favorite!), Singapore Style Chili Shrimp from our Celebrate Southeast Asia Collection, and Elote Style Street Corn Tortilla Chips with Tomatillo Crema Dip, both from our Latin Action Collection.

New Celebrate Southeast Asia Collection

We are very excited to introduce our newest line of seasonings, the Celebrate Southeast Asia Collection! This collection, carefully crafted by Chef Elizabeth Lindemer and Associate Food Scientist Brian Swing, features four delicious and on-trend seasonings. The four yummy seasonings and bases in this collection are:

  • Malaysian Style Curry Laska Sauce Base
  • Spicy Singapore Style Chili Seafood Seasoning
  • Thai Style Gingered Butternut Squash Soup Base
  • Vietnamese Style Meatball Seasoning

Inspired by the flavors of Southeast Asia, each of the items that make up Fuchs’ Celebrate Southeast Asia Collection has its own unique inspiration and flavor profile, yet all of them draw on the authentic characteristics of the diverse Southeast Asian culinary traditions.

For our Thai Style Gingered Butternut Squash Soup Base, we were inspired by Thai cuisine’s use of strongly perfumed spices and spicy flavors to recreate a fall classic with twist. This delicious vegan soup fuses naturally rich and sweet butternut squash along with creamy coconut, complex and peppery ginger and finishes with bright citrus and herbal notes.

Our Celebrate Southeast Asia Collection features two items to take protein to the next level. First is our Vietnamese Meatball Seasoning, which is reminiscent of Hanoi’s ever intriguing cuisine. It features a flavorful blend of bold spices and fragrant herbs with savory garlic and onion. According to Chef Elizabeth, “Our seasoning creates meatballs that are perfect for snacking right off the grill, in a Bahn Mi, tossed in a soup or served with noodles.”

Second is the delicious and versatile Spicy Singapore Style Chili Seafood Seasoning which is perfect for shrimp, scallops, salmon, and even crab. “We’ve put our own spin on the classic and iconic Singapore Chili Crab dish to create a seafood sauce that exhibits the same spicy, sweet and luxurious appeal,” Chef Elizabeth notes.

Not only is our Malaysian Style Curry Laska Sauce Base organic compliant, but it’s also a vibrant addition to any side dish or entrée. “Enjoy as plain laska by simply serving noodles with the sauce, or add chicken, shrimp, bean sprouts and fresh mint for a hearty fall meal,” Chef Elizabeth suggests.

Inspiring the Next Generation of Chefs

For three Thursdays in October, Fuchs’ Corporate Executive Chef Elizabeth Lindemer visited a local elementary school to teach kids about nutrition and cooking healthy meals through the ACF sponsored Chef& Child program.

Each week, 5th graders, each donning their own chef hat, visited their cafeteria, where Chef Elizabeth and another local chef had prepared four fun and educational activities.

First up was a make-your-own quesadilla station, where the ingredients included fresh vegetables, turkey meat, and whole grain wraps. Over in another corner, they learned about and tasted a variety of fresh vegetables, with healthy dips that Chef Elizabeth prepared. Next up was a station that featured information about whole grains, where the kids tried farro, couscous, and brown rice salads. For the last station of the day, the kids made their own smoothies, with fresh fruit, orange juice, and yogurt.

“One of my passions as a chef is to teach kids about healthy eating, get them excited about trying new foods, and inspire the next generation of chefs. Events like these give back to the community and really get the kids interested in cooking and nutrition,” explains Lindemer.
