Signature Recipes from the Kitchens of Fuchs

Our culinary wizards have created recipes that deliver irresistible taste sensations, thanks to the Latin Action Collection from Fuchs. And they’re just the start of where these uniquely delicious seasonings, bases and flavors can take you:

Cracked Coriander & Green Chili Pork Roast

  • Score skin of a 4 lbs. pork shoulder and coat thoroughly with Cracked Coriander & Green Chili Rub. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • Preheat oven to 425˚F.
  • Place pork skin-side up in a roasting pan. Roast uncovered for 30 minutes.
  • Cover with foil and continue roasting at 325˚F for 4-1/2-5 hours or until tender.
  • Remove roast from oven and baste with pan juices.
  • Return roast to oven and roast uncovered for 30-45 more minutes or until the skin is crisp.
  • Let rest 5-10 minutes before serving.

Note: This rub also goes great with fish or chicken. For a quick flavor boost try it sprinkled over rice or roasted potatoes.

Tomatillo Crema

  • Mix 4 to 6 tablespoons Tomatillo Seasoning Blend with 1 pint sour cream.
  • Add 4 ounces pureed tomatillos (canned or fresh).
  • Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
  • Drizzle over tacos, on a salad, or use as a dip.

Note: This recipe is versatile! Substitute sour cream for Greek yogurt. Also, try green chilies or petite diced tomatoes for tomatillos. For a super-fast and delicious salsa, combine 2-4 tablespoons seasoning blend with a 16-ounce can of petite diced tomatoes.

Insane Chipotle Adobo Chicken Tacos

  • Whisk 8 tablespoons Chipotle Adobo Seasoning Blend with 1 cup hot water to create sauce.
  • Combine sauce with 1 lb. cooked and shredded rotisserie-style chicken.
  • Assemble tacos using shredded chicken and sliced avocado placed in 8-inch corn or flour tortillas.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped cilantro and serve with a lime wedge.

Yield: 8 tacos (4 servings)

Note: For a thicker sauce, prepare with 1 additional tablespoon of seasoning. This zesty sauce is also perfect for roasted pork, lamb, and even sweet potatoes!

Valencia Style Rice

  • In a small pot, bring 3 cups unsalted water to a boil.
  • Add 1 cup long-grain white rice and 4 tablespoons Valencia Style Rice Seasoning Blend, stirring briefly to distribute ingredients evenly.
  • Cover pot and reduce heat so that it barely simmers.
  • Cook for 20 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed.
  • Remove from heat and keep covered until ready to eat, fluffing rice just before serving.

Yield: 4 servings

Note: This seasoning blend is also delicious prepared with other grains such as couscous or farro.

Paella con Pollo y Mariscos

  • ½ cups olive oil, divided
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 red and 1 green bell pepper, cut into strips
  • ½ bunch asparagus, cut into thirds
  • 1 small yellow squash, sliced on bias
  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 4-6 cups hot water
  • 1-1/2 cups short-grain rice, such as Arborio
  • 6 tablespoons Valencia Style Rice Seasoning Blend
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 4 Roma tomatoes, rough-chopped
  • ¼ bunch fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ lb. raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ½ lb. raw mussels or clams


Roasting the Chicken and Vegetables:

  • Preheat oven to 400˚ F. Season vegetables and chicken with salt, pepper and 2 tablespoons olive oil. Place vegetables in one pan and chicken in a separate pan.
  • Roast for 15-25 minutes or until vegetables are tender but still firm, and chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165˚F.
  • Remove from oven. Chop chicken, then set chopped chicken and vegetables aside.

Making the Rice:

  • Preheat a large oven-proof paella pan or sauté pan with 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add rice to pan and sauté (pearlize) 1 minute.
  • Add Valencia Style Rice Seasoning Blend and 1-2 ladles of water to rice, stirring to evenly distribute.
  • Continue to cook over medium-low heat while adding more water and stirring as needed until rice is al dente.

Making the Sofrito:

  • Preheat another large sauté pan over medium heat with 2 tablespoons olive oil.
  • Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  • Add tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Continue to cook over low heat for 5–10 minutes or until the tomatoes break down.
  • Add parsley, shrimp, mussels/clams and chicken. continue to cook until shrimp is almost pink and mussels/clams begin to open.

Finishing the Paella:

  • Arrange vegetables decoratively around the edge of the rice.
  • Pour the Sofrito into the center.
  • Place the paella in a 400˚F oven and bake for 10–15 minutes or until heated through.

Signature Recipes from the Kitchens of Fuchs

Inventive recipes inspired by the cuisines of Southeast Asia begin with the seasonings in our new collection. Not only do they capture the essence of everything this fascinating region of the world has to offer, they reveal why Southeast Asian cuisine is becoming so popular!

These four easy, great-tasting recipes are just the beginning of what you can create when you start with our Celebrate Southeast Asia seasonings as your foundation:

Malaysian Curry Laska

  • Combine 1/2 cup Malaysian Style Curry Laska Seasoning* with 1 cup water and 1 can of organic coconut milk.
  • Heat over medium heat until boiling; simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Optional Additions:
    • 4-6 ounces cooked and chopped chicken
    • 6-8 ounces trimmed bean sprouts
    • 4-6 shrimp
    • 4 ounces of sliced, deep fried tofu
  • Place optional additions into curry and continue to cook for 5-7 minutes, or until shrimp is cooked through and chicken is heated to 165˚F.

To serve:

  • Place 1/2 cup prepared noodles (such as Asian style egg noodles) in each bowl.
  • Pour curry laska over the noodles.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves, lime wedges and chili paste (such as Sambal) as desired.

Yield: 2 Servings

Thai Gingered Butternut Squash Soup

  • Combine 1/2 cup Thai Style Gingered Butternut Squash Soup Base* with 1 cup hot water.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh chives or basil.

Yield: 2 Servings

Spicy Singapore Seafood Sautè

  • Combine 4 Tbsp. Spicy Singapore Style Chili Seafood Seasoning with 2 tsp. of oil and 1 cup of water; whisk and set aside.
  • Heat 1-2 Tbsp. oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat.
  • Add 1 lb. of seafood such as peeled and cleaned shrimp, cleaned scallops, salmon fillets or other seafood.
  • Sauté for 2 minutes; add sauce and bring to boil.
  • Simmer for 5-7 minutes or until sauce thickens and seafood is cooked through.
  • Serve with crusty bread, steamed buns or steamed rice.

Chef Elizabeth’s Tip: When in season, try making with cleaned and chopped crabs, increasing cooking time to 10-15 minutes.

Yield: 4 Servings

Vietnamese Meatball Bahn Mi

  • Combine 1/3 cup Vietnamese Style Meatball Seasoning with 1 lb. ground pork.
  • Mix well and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Form into 1 – 1 ½ inch balls.
  • Place 6-8 meatballs per soaked skewer and grill over Medium heat for 10-15 minutes or until reaching a temperature of 165°F.
  • Serve in crusty rolls with fresh cucumber, carrot and basil slaw, drizzling with chili mayo for a delicious Bahn Mi!

Yield: 4 -6 Servings

Get ready for the Big Day with these sensational, super-easy recipes that will add real pizzazz to your party – thanks to the new Game Day Glory III seasoning collection from Fuchs!

Signature Recipes from the Kitchens of Fuchs

These four easy, great-tasting recipes are just the beginning of what you can create when you start with our Game Day Glory seasonings as your foundation:

Caramelized Onion & Roasted Garlic Dip



  • Combine 1 cup sour cream with 1 -2 Tbsp. of Caramelized Onion & Roasted Garlic Seasoning.
  • Mix well and refrigerate for at least 2 hours for best taste. 

Chef Elizabeth’s Tip: For a healthier version, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.

Honey Sriracha Wings


Steps for Raw Wings:

  • Place 2 - 3 pounds of raw wings or drummies in a large bowland sprinkle with ¼ cup Honey Sriracha Wing Rub; mix well to coat evenly.
  • Place seasoned wings in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to marinate.
  • Roast, smoke, grill or bake as desired.


Steps for Prepared Wings: 

  • Place 2 - 3 pounds of prepared wings in a large bowl and sprinkle with ¼ cup of Honey Sriracha Wing Rub.
  • Mix well to coat wing evenly with seasoning.

Serve and enjoy!

Chipotle Caramel Popcorn



  • Place prepared popcorn in a large bowl and spray lightly with cooking spray; mix or shake well to coat evenly. 
  • Sprinkle popcorn with Chipotle Caramel Snack Seasoning and mix well.

Chef Elizabeth’s Tip: This snack seasoning is also the perfect topping for roasted nuts, crackers or other snacks.


Chick-Chick Chili 



  • Mix ½ cup Chick-Chick Chili Seasoning with 1-½ cups water.
  • Bring to a boil over medium high heat; then reduce heat to medium low and simmer for at least 5 minutes.
  • Add 1 cup chopped cooked chicken and ½ cup cooked and drained chickpeas.
  • Optional additions: Diced tomatoes (drained if canned) ... corn ... cooked grains (quinoa, barley, farro)
  • Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes or until chicken is heated through.
  • Garnish with a swirl of sour cream and pickled sliced jalapeños.

Yield: 4 Servings

Berbere BBQ Flank Steak

  • Apply 2 -3 Tbsp. Berbere BBQ Seasoning to each 1 pound of Flank Steak.
  • Let sit overnight (or at least 2 hours) in refrigerator.
  • Grill steaks over medium-high heat until desired doneness.

Chef Elizabeth’s Tip: Try this as a mouth-watering topical seasoning for snacks, such as popcorn and chips, too!

Maghreb Style Boharat Chicken Wings

  • Combine 1-2 Tbsp. Maghreb Style Boharat Seasoning with 1Tbsp. olive oil to make marinade.
  • Apply to 1 pound of chicken wings; let sit overnight (or at least 2 hours) in refrigerator.
  • Bake at 350°F for approximately 30-40 minutes, or until fully


Chef Elizabeth’s Tip: This seasoning also works wonderfully with vegetables such as turnips, sweet potatoes and cauliflower. Or, mix it in with rice or grains.

Mozambique Style Piri Piri Shrimp

  • Preheat a medium non-stick sauté pan over medium heat.
  • Add 1 Tbsp. oil and 1 ½ pounds raw, cleaned shrimp.
  • Cook for 2 minutes.
  • Combine ½ cup Mozambique Style Piri Piri Sauce Base and ½ cup water, and pour over shrimp in sauté pan.
  • Continue to heat for 4-5 minutes, or until fully cooked.

Chef Elizabeth’s Tip: You’ll want to try this seasoning on other seafood items such as mussels or cod – not to mention how well it works with chicken!


Senegalese Style Tamarind & Coconut Cashews

  • Place ½ cup plain, unsalted cashews in a bowl.
  • Spray evenly with cooking spray.
  • Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp. Senegalese Style Tamarind & Coconut Snack Seasoning

Chef Elizabeth’s Tip: This seasoning also pairs well with the delicate flavors of fish such as cod or other white fish. Or, for a vegetarian option, try it with tofu.
